In My Mailbox was created by: The Story Siren
Not a very big week, but I got a couple ARCs that I'm pretty excited about. :)
In Trouble by Ellen Levine
In Trouble is a work of historical fiction, combining McCarthy-era politics with pre-sexual revolution sexual repression. Two 1950s teens in New York deal in very different ways with the consequences of unplanned pregnancies. One's family is conservative and Catholic; the other's father just came back from serving a year in prison for refusing to name names at a McCarthy Senate committee hearing.

Ultraviloet by R. J. Anderson
Once upon a time there was a girl who was special.
This is not her story.
Unless you count the part where I killed her.
Sixteen-year-old Alison has been sectioned in a mental institute for teens, having murdered the most perfect and popular girl at school. But the case is a mystery: no body has been found, and Alison's condition is proving difficult to diagnose. Alison herself can't explain what happened: one minute she was fighting with Tori -- the next she disintegrated. Into nothing. But that's impossible. Right?
