This week has been a great week. I got so many books! I'm so excited to read all of them and get the reviews up for you guys. They all sound great. So...here goes!

Summary:
Just as Ever is learning everything she can about her new abilitiesas an immortal, initiated into the dark, seductive worldby her beloved Damen., something terrible is happening to hijm. As Ever's powers increase, Damen's begin to fade after he is stricken by a mysterious illness that threatens his memory, his identity, his life.

Desperate to save him, Ever travels to the mystical dimension of Summerland, where she uncovers not only the secrets of Damen's past -- the brutal, tortured history he hoped to keep hidden -- but also an ancient text revealing the workings of time. With the approaching blue moon heralding her only window for travel, Ever is forced to decide between turning back the clock and saving her family from the accident that claimed them -- or staying in the present and saving Damen, who grows weaker by the day....

My Thoughts:
Hopefully this doesn't spoil anything for those who haven't read the first book in the series (Evermore). Or me haha since I haven't read it yet either. This does however sound very intriguing. I'm very curious to find out what this book is about. The summary makes me want to read the prequel even more!

Moonlight: A Dark Guardian Novel
by Rachel Hawthorne

Lucas is dangerous, gorgeous...and a werewolf. As leader os the Dark Guardians, shape-shifters who gather deep within the state park, he has sworn to protect his pack. But when Lucas finds his true soul mate, his love could put them all in harm's way.

As Lucas and Kayla struggle with their feelings for each other, a greater danger lurks: Humans have discovered the Dark Guardians and are planning their destruction. Kayla must choose between the life she knows and the love she feels certain is her destiny.

My Thoughts:
This book sounds amazing. I cannot wait to start reading. I think this will end up being a great read. I really like the idea of the romance between human and werewolf. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds!!

Full Moon: A Dark Guardian Novel
by Rachel Hawthorne

Photobucket

Summary:
Lindsey is wild and reckless, a natural rebel - maybe because her entire life was laid out for her even before she was born. HGer parents are among the most powerful members of the Dark Guardians, an ancient tribe of werewolves, and they arranged Lindsey's betrothal to Connor long ago. The next full moon is coming all too soon, and then her commitment to Connor will be final - no turning back. She should be happy...so why can't she stop thinking abuot gorgeous, brooding Rafe?

When a dangerous threat on the pack escalates, so do tensions between Connor and Rafe. A fight over Lindsey is imminent, but will it be to the death?

My Thoughts:
The second in the Dark Guardian series. All new characters as the focal point. I'm interested to see how these Dark Guardians function and how this love triangle will work out between Lindsey, Connor, and Rafe. Will Lindsey accept her chosen fate by her parents? Or will she make her own fate?

Wolf Island
by Darren Shan

Photobucket

The eigth novel in the chilling Demonata series by Darren Shan, author of the New York Times bestselling Cirque Du Freak series, will terrify readers long after the last page.

My Thoughts:
I finally am completely caught up in the posession of all of the released Demonata series. Now all I have to do is catch up on reading them. :P

Welcome to the Théâtre Illuminata, where the characters of every play ever written can be found behind the curtain. They were born toplay their parts, and are bound to the Théâtre by The Book -- an ancient and magical tome of scripts. Bertie is not one of them, but they are her family...and she is about to lose them all and the only home she has ever known.

My Thoughts:
I have heard so many amazing things about this book, and I cannot wait to read it. I am so excited that I got it. I totally want to put this at the top of my list, but alas, I gotta keep some kind of order right? Haha, maybe not. :P

Given:
Oh. My. Gods.
by Tera Lynn Childs

Photobucket

Summary:
All Phoebe Castro has to do is keep her grades up and have another stellar cross-country season and her dream of attending USC with her friends on a track scholarship is a reality. So it's a complete shock when her mom announces that she's marrying a near-stranger and moving them to Greece.

Before Phoebe knows it, she's stuck on a secret island in the Aegean and attending the superexclusive Acadamy, where her new stepfather is the headmaster and the kids are anything but your average students - they're decendants of the Greek gods, superpowers included. If regular high school wasn't bad enough, this is mortal misery.

Phoebe's only chance of reclaiming her old lise lies in securing that scholarship. But managing that may be an ungodly challenge, considering she's got a sabotaging stepsister from Hades and a gorgeous guy - what a god! - in her way...

My Thoughts:
Ever since I heard about this book, I have been dying to get my hands on it. I was so psyched when I got it from my friend. I've heard nothing but great reviews about it, so I'm really looking forward to a fun read.

Project 17
by Laurie Faria Stolarz

Photobucket

Summary:
High atop Hathorne Hill, near Boston, sits Danvers State Hospital. Built in 1878, and closed in1992, this abandoned mental institution is rumored to be the birthplace of the lobotomy.

On the eve of the hospital's demolition, six teens break in to spend the night and film a movie about their experiences. For Derek, it's an opportunity to win a filmmaking contest and save himself from a future of flipping burgers at his parent's diner. For the others, it's a chance to be on TV, or for a night with no parents. But what starts as a dare quickly escalates into a nightmare. Behind the crumbling walls, down every dark passageway, and in each deserted room they will unravel the myseteries of those who once lived there and the spirits who still might.

My Thoughts:
I love Laurie Faria Stolarz's work. This book is written in the same style as Bleed, from multiple perspectives. Although this one goes back and forth between points of view instead of just one chapter per character. There is a crossover in characters as well. Derek is a character from Bleed and the events in this book are mentioned later on in his chapter in Bleed. I am really looking forward to seeing how Stolarz develops this storyline and the characters.

Just Listen
by Sarah Dessen

Photobucket

Annabel Greene is the girl who has everything. At least, that's what she portrays in her modeling shoots. But Annabel's life is far from perfect. And with his guidance, Annabellearns to just listen to herself and gains the courage to speak honestly. But will she be able to tell everyone what really happened the night she and Sophie stopped being friends?

My Thoughts:
I have been really looking forward to getting a Sarah Dessen book for a while now, so I was really happy when I got this one. Thanks to my best friend, I can now start my collection! This one looks really good, and I'm really looking forward to reading it.

Crazy In Love
by Dandi Daley Mackall

Photobucket

Summary:
High school senior Mary Jane Ettermeyer has been the good girl for a long time. To date, she's proud to say she's been able to keep her pledge of abstinence (not that anyone has challenged it). But when the cutest guy in school starts flirting with her, she suddenly finds herself crazy in love, even though her inner Plain Jane tells her he can't possibly think she's cute, while her inner Sexy M. J. is questioning her vow to keep herself pure until marriage. Not to mention that hot Jackson House shouldn't even be talking to her, because he already has a girlfriend! There are a ton of good reasons why she should never speak to Jackson again, except that every time she sees him, all of her resistance seems to melt away....

My Thoughts:
This sounds really cute. I like the idea of the "not-it" girl in love with the "it" boy. can't wait to read it.
